Q: How can I create a new account?
A: Creating a new Instantstream account is simple. All you have to do is complete our User Profile form. Once you submit it, your FREE account will be set up and you will receive $10 worth of FREE Streamphone minutes. Set up your account.
Q: What should I do if I forget my login password?
A: If you can't remember your password, go to the Forgot Password page, and enter your registered email address. When you click the Request Password button, your password will be sent to your email account. Go to Forgot Password page
Q: Do I need to download any software before using StreamPhone conference?
A: The only technical requirement for using Streamphone is that you have the Flash Player installed in your Web browser. If you don't have Flash installed, you will need to download it. To check your browser, go to the Client Test Page to make sure Flash is installed on your computer or PDA. The Test Page will give you a message telling you whether or not you are ready to use Streamphone.
Q: Will everyone I want to talk to be able to use Streamphone?
A: Streamphone software is based on the world famous Adobe/Macromedia Flash player, which is installed on more than 526 million home desktops, corporate computers and cell phone PDA's throughout the world. Flash is designed to integrate audio, video, animation and other forms of rich media. Instantstream engineers have used Flash as a foundation to develop Streamphone's capabilities. This means that virtually all current computer devices are compatible and ready to use Streamphone today.
Q: How can I join a conference?
A: For a registered user, simply login to your account. Then, under Current Event, click the Join button. You will be able to login to the conference five (5) minutes prior to the conference start time. If you do not see the Join button, click the refresh button on your browser.
For a non-registered user, you should receive an invitation email which will include your event link, your username and your password. Click the link in the email to join the conference. You can also go to the conference login page to join the event.
Q: How do I create a StreamPhone conference?
A: You must first register with Instantstream and set up an account. Once you have logged in to your account, click Add New Event which is located under Current Event. Follow the instructions on the screen to create a new conference.
Q: Can I invite non-registered user to the conference?
A: Yes. You can invite anyone to the conference. Each participant will receive an invitation to attend the conference.
